From ESPNFC article on JK/Loew relationship

"USA international Steve Cherundolo, who has played in the Bundesliga for over a decade, said: It’s a very difficult group with many familiar faces. We need to show three top performances to reach the knockout stages. I would be absolutely delighted to be a part of that."

It would be huge to have him at RB against some of these guys we're going to see in the group stage. Even is he's not quite what he used to be. He's been back and playing for a little while now, right? I don't follow much of the Bundesliga, outside of the Champions League teams.

Forgot that I started this thread and just noticed I didn't get any love. So I looked it up. Cherundolo came on as a 90th minute sub in his first game back last week and didn't come off the bench this weekend. Hope he starts getting games. It would be nice to have him back for the WC.

I think the pressure will be on Klinnsman to find a solid back line, considering the group we have.

He'll know most of the Germans, as he states, he needs to be a part of the apparat. if not in the side.
