Hmmmmmmmmm

Premier League leaders Chelsea are over-achieving when wages are compared to league position in the top flight.
The Blues (£192.7m) have the third-highest wage bill behind Manchester United (£215m) and Manchester City (£205m).

I think City and United's wages will def go down next season.

City in part with trying to overhaul the squad and meet FFP. So some of those 200k a week guys are gone.

United get rid of two 200k a week guys in RVP and Falcao

f that noise

PSG already said he's staying and he said he wants to stay.

He has done nothing to justify those kind of wages but of course PSG pays them.

I don't think he is leaving PSG just to play on the wing again

Memphis Depay is our main target it looks like. Should get him for around 20-25 million

if we stick with this 4-3-3 which is LvG ideal formation play Depay on the left Rooney in the middle and Mata or Janazuaj on the right.

Move DiMaria into the midfield where he belongs and can excel with a good holding midfielder in the middle.

Are you saying DiMaria as a 10? Not Mata? Also I would expect Depay to fetch more than that, but I could be wrong. A 4-2-3-1 with Depay and DiMaria on opposite wings sounds sexy, with Rooney up top and Mata puling the strings.

No you could play him as a midfielder like they did sometimes at Madrid with a holding mid like Modric.

Spurs offered 15 million and got told no. Ive seen everything from 25 million euro to 25 million pounds. For shits and giggles I asked PSV about him in FIFA in the 5th season of manager mode and they wanted 75 million dollars for him

with Herrea and Carrick in the holding role omg

Overall, however, the figures show a close correlation between total salary bill and league position

"Do it the right way" and you can break into the top 4 though, right?

Southampton still has a shot at finishing top 4 and spent a good amount of the season in the top 4.

so keep trying

Wish City could grab him, but the LVG advantage has its perks.

If Arsenal beats Chelsea on Sunday, then Arsenal will be beating all three of you folk in the all encompassing wages-to-points ratio

Ban bet on Southampton making top 4 in any of the next 3 seasons?

You joke but that sounds like something Wegner would actually play up.

Either way , no matter. Chelsea will run away with the wages-to league titles ratio and that's what matters on the west side of London.
