Hi guys -- Off topic question: Do we have any members of the Chelsea club here? Me and a friend are heading to London for the Saints game and are huge EPL fans (Arsenal and Everton who play on Saints Sunday of course) and looking to go to our first ever match. We're desperately trying to get into Stamford Bridge for the match vs City. Online tickets are very sketchy for soccer. Does anyone have any recommendations for us? From what I understand if I were to sign up for a membership to the club I could only purchase one ticket and I'm looking for a pair.Any advice? Thanks

Hello and yes I'm a member. Have been for almost 9 years. Unfortunately the only way I get them is quite expensive but very safe. My sister is part of a high end travel company and she gets us tickets. While it comes with the prematch buffet and usually very good seats, they are very very expensive. What is your budget?

My friend is a member of the club and last he told me they aren't offering tickets yet based on his priority level for that game. (He's not high, he just joined.) It's possible they release to lower priority levels as the game gets closer but it's also possible they don't. Idk if it would be worth your time or $ to join.

How does Hazard only get 30 min?
Why is Moses still playing when Willian could be back there?
F that lame straight red, it's going to be November before our first choice back line can get any continuity thanks to incompetent refs.
We can't draw at home to a team that has already laid down on their manager.

Really? I mean a place he can be one of the first names on the team sheet every week rather than hit or miss like now? It's like he wouldn't get forward. Moses does all the freaking time but never does anything with it.

Hed be in contention for starting forward spot for most big teams, outside the few obvious ones. These guys have big egos, and the only reason it worked for moses is because he was out of options and close to be sold to someone the size of swansea.
I also think willian would struggle with positional discipline. Guy loves to dribble and roam around with alot of freedom. Would take a big comnitment from him to move back and work on defending, when he could just as easily force a move to another big club as an attacking winger. Lots of assumptions, but thats just my gut reaction.

It's all reasonable and very possible obviously but he had a chance to move to Man U this summer and turned it down to be an occasional starter. I think if he wanted to leave playing time would be more of a factor than where he was playing. Again, especially given how often our wing backs get forward.

His situation woulda been similar at ManU, dont know if theres a top tier club where hed be an auto-11, though hes a Jose guy and joses relationship with mkhi seems awkward. but i also think with his mom dying last year and his best friend David Luiz being around is the reason he stayed, wouldnt be surprised to see him leave this summer if pedro stays in front. That said, both those dudes are gonna get alot of mins.
In a perfect world hed move back and become an elite wing back, but i gotta assume Conte has thought this also and theres a reason it hasnt happened.

I agree, I'm mainly just venting because I think that is a clear weak spot on our team and I think Willian has everything needed to excel in that position. Especially against when we need a goal or plan to attack against weaker teams.

Ya, its a bummer to think about. Would be epic if he stayed and accepted a new role once he begins to decline. Its about time to scout and start grooming a new corps of wingers anyway.
