I don't want Drogba as our third striker either. I'm hoping he rides off into the sunset with this title and joins our coaching staff.

Remy has been great as a #2 when healthy. He has been a good guy to bring on when either Costa is injured or the power ball just isn't working as much and we need the faster guy.

Vaguely recall that name, don't think it's someone we can rely on to help next year though. Any word on if Piazon is ever going to make it on the first team?

I'm still on the fence for selling Oscar. When he's on, he improves our team so much. Problem is just his fall off over the course of the year.

Yea when he plays well it shows how good we can be with an in form #10. Though this is three years running he's been worthless the last 2/3s of the season. I don't think that's a trend we can continue to just "hope" changes.

Bamford to Southampton would be very nice in my opinion.

I'd be fine with that.

No I think Nathan is another guy we buy and hope for the best for the future and sell for profit if it doesn't work out. He's still 19 so would be a few years out from a major impact.

Not sure on Piazon. I'm hoping to see lots of RLC the rest of this season and next season though.

True, who would you replace Oscar with (other than Pogba of course)?

Pogba or Koke would be the dream scenario. Other than that and of what is realistic I really don't know.

Willian becoming a little better goal scorer would help tremendously. It's hard when all the pressure to score is on two guys.

Agreed, thats also just part of the reason I wouldn't want to sell Oscar, I don't know who the replacement would be.

In any case, I believe Mourinho said the other day we are still looking to add a few big names so it should be an interesting window this Summer.

I trust our scouting department has some guys in mind. I just don't watch enough soccer outside of England and the big European teams to know all the possibilities. I'm convinced there is someone out there that we could get a decent price that could do the job better, or at least more consistently, than Oscar.

Obviously hindsight is 20/20, but you had that player in De Bruyne. He just didn't fit into Jose's immediate plans. Plus, he might not do the defensive work Jose demands from every player on the pitch. His offensive skills are fantastic.

I like De Bruyne a lot, hate we sold him. Still, to be truly elite in Europe I think we can, and need to, do better.

Hard to do better right now. He is still young and has a great assist and goal scoring record. Depay and Dybala are good, but not on his level. Draxler is injury prone, but a huge talent.

We just won 5 games and a draw out of six with Drogba at striker. That may be the greatest managerial feat of his illustrious career.
