Would really appreciate it if Arsene did the same. he would be a nice piece for us, though i get the feeling we aren't going to buy a DM and we'll wait until next summer to replace Arteta.

Jupp Heynckes says he was "not amused" at Bayern Munich's 4-2 DFL-Supercup final loss to Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.

The 68-year-old led the Bavarians to an unprecedented treble last season, only to watch on helplessly as his successor Pep Guardiola suffered defeat in his first competitive match in charge at Signal Iduna Park.

However, Heynckes stated he was not to downhearted at the setback and tipped the Spaniard to achieve further success following his 14 titles in four seasons at Barcelona.

"I barely managed a team which was that perfect and so focused to succeed," he told ZDF Sportstudio. "Of course I'm not amused , these are still my guys."

"The team isn't that far from showing a top performance. [b]Pep looks very good, is well-dressed and has a perfect team.

I love Jupp

I do have the feeling it will take Pep a decent amount of time to figure out how to play with this team.

I expect us to struggle in some games early on. Especially on defense. We'll always score some goals.

At the end of the year, I do wonder if we'll be left thinking that keeping Jupp until he wanted to hang it up wouldn't have been the better option.

I don't blame Bayern for doing what they did. Jupp was strongly considering retiring, Bayern saw possibly the best coach in Europe sitting on his arse so they made the move to get a replacement rather than trying to woo someone after the season. Now if you asked me if I would rather Jupp or Pep this season, I'd definitely say Jupp. I just don't blame the board for what they did.

Hopefully we don't soil the bed like a few other Bundesliga teams have so far...(seriously doubt that happens though, too much talent)

Thanks

I'm pretty sure that every single Rehden player's average position is within 30 yards of their own goal
