Well the women's season here starts late spring and she's going to play the summer. Their season isn't long, unless they are in the champions league which City are.

The rest of the world caught up fast. I've said it before on here with European clubs dumping cash into the women's game, the American subsidized league can't compete. Our best players will go abroad and development around the world has caught up.

Yes - the women's league in England is only playing a short spring season and then switching to a typical Euro Fall-Spring calendar this year.
She's playing for City only through the summer and is going back to Houston for the 2nd half of the US season.

Dumb question, but do Europeans care about women's sports? Less in the way that nobody in the US cares about the WNBA, and more in the way that I care about LSU women's teams when they're doing well, but would be lying if I knew we had a team if they're doing poorly.
