Good for them. Haven't really seen many of their games, to be honest.

Didn't one club get penalized like 30 points that season but still only had - 9 GD? Guy at work was telling me about it.

They are fun to watch, remember the names jan kermorgant and matt ritchie. Kinda remind me of swansea under Laudrup two years ago.

Somehow leeds beat them and boro twice but cant beat rotherham or brentford

So 6 years ago they almost got relegated to the 5th division? And now they're going to the premier league?

Well at least we got one of those going

But then the club is sold to some crazy frick and you lose a bunch of games and the bills start to stack up and the more you get out the more come in and then you're charging extra for meat pies and then norwich is buying all your players and THEN PUBLISHERS CLEARINGHOUSE

QPR could learn a thing or two from them.

I know of Matt Ritchie. Isn't he the guy that declared for the Scottish National Team a few weeks back, but hadn't ever been to Scotland until the week of the match?

Would love to see the "relegation" system instituted in US sports ! Ownership here has little incentive to consistently improve...i.e. TV money/revenue sharing always assures solvency, no matter how terrible a team is run. For example...the football raiders would long ago been relegated to the USFL/indoor or CFL......the astros and cubs would both be semi-pro teams at best !
Grow weary of ownership raping taxpayers and fans alike....sickening

God no. It wouldn't work whatsoever in America in any sport. American sports fans would flip shite if their team got relegated. Relegation in America would be a massive, colossal failure.

u think its best for growth in the game, tv ratings and league strength for a team like La galaxy or NYRB to be sent down so fort lauderdale can come up?

Most american fans are too wishy washy for this to work.

People would stop going regardless of the sport

no one in America is packing 45K+ like Newcastle did when they were in the Championship.

Charlton about to post a FIFA result on them. I beat a guy 24-0 in Ultimate Team Online Seasons on FIFA 14 once so I feel like it's possible. Then again, it is Charlton, and I do support them as my Championship side so it's possible that they let me down by only winning 17-0 or something.

Lol no, they've been bankrolled

But, since you brought it up, when will FFP be expanded to actually include debts being put onto a club (a la Glazer family) which is much more of a danger to club solvency than individuals using their fortunes?
