At my high school's soccer game last year some guy on the other team did a flip throw-in into the goal but it was disallowed

I can throw a soccer ball with two hands further than I can throw a football with one. True story. I knew a couple of kids who could do flip throws. One of them was a gymnast. He could absolutely launch it.

At Duke soccer camp, we would have competitions that were camp-wide...i watched someone do a flip throw from one touch line to the other pk spot.

I often have to hear the story of my friend scoring off a throw in against Jesuit senior year. He threw it straight in the goal, wasn't touched by anyone and the refs let it stand. Pretty awful officiating if you ask me.
