Fact: if this coach had delivered on his promise to make us an exciting, attack minded team, we wouldn't be clamoring over adding extra exciting, attack-minded players from our player pool.

If only we had Feilhaber and Lichaj we might be on top of the world. Never mind that Bradley sucks now, Dempsey's old, and Donovan went to pasture.

Don't get me wrong. Jurgen sucks, but so do the players and certainly so do the bunch of pansies on this board whose opinions are as predictable as Trump saying something outrageous.

Oh cwill and broski are talking about Jurgen playing people out of position again. Stop the fricking presses. VKC is still mad about Landon. Wow wow it's so interesting.

And once again, you're complaining about people raising legitimate concerns... what's your point?

ETA: And for the record, all I asked in this thread was if EastNasty really believes that Feilhaber in his present form is the same as Feilhaber from 2011-2013 and for him to back up his assertion that Feilhaber is a locker room cancer with actual proof...

but yeah, frick me, right?

I honestly don't think Feilhaber is as amazing as everyone is making him out to be, but no one American player is....If he sucked at first for Jurgen that's fine. I understand that.

I typically respect Klinsmann and his decisions. I was all on board for Donovan getting left of the WC team, because it that it was bull shite that he took the sabbatical and then thought he could just walk onto the team.

However, I disagree that Feilhaber shouldn't get a second look. We need as much as help as we can get. I don't really see the issue in giving the guy another chance. Even if it's just one. You can't really explain not doing it, when just like you guys said, fricking Ibarra is getting called up.

Well...yeah.

As long as Jurgy fricks up tactics, personnel, and management he will get criticized. By posters, analysts, former American players, former German players, managers, journalists, etc etc etc.

If people raising valid criticisms makes someone so mad that they devolve into lashing out with stuff like douchebags, pansies, bitches, frick off, etc then maybe just avoid it altogether. Really, there's no reason to get so bent out of shape about it.

It's not that people raise valid concerns, it's that there is so little nuance in their opinions regarding Jurgen. He's a cartoon villain to them at this point instead of a strong-willed and flawed soccer coach making decisions they disagree with.

Lol you want nuance? You won't get any. The mistakes that Klinsmann has made, and his failures to deliver on key promises and goals, is about as evident as can be. There's nothing nuanced about Jurgen... But you want our criticisms to be so?

When MiB interviewed the German guy who wrote the book in THenrys thread, he gave a nuanced criticism of Jurgen. Did you listen to that interview? It cooled some of my desire to have Jurgen fired.

But this isn't just about Feilhaber... well, it is and it isn't...

With the way he has played the last 2 seasons, he at the very least deserves a cupcake call up just to see if he can channel his club form on the international level.

But, this is more about another bullet point added on the long list of head scratching decisions from Jurgen.

How did you feel about Timmy Chandler making that same roster?

And that's really my point above anything else... There is no consistency to Jurgen's decision making. He'll give you reasons why Donovan and Feilhaber don't belong, but then you can easily point to other people in the fold that took a similar route and weren't penalized for it.

Chandler is a good point. You can't tell me that Chandler gives more effort than Feilhaber when he plays, especially since Feilhaber has been at SKC.

Chandler basically is everything bad about JK's decision making in a nutshell.
