We have a typical 6 ft wood fence in the backyard.

We recently got a 6.5 ft tall by 12 ft wide soccer goal.

We have several sacrificial balls that we have been using but continue to have balls go over the fence into neighbor's yard where there is a soccer-balling eating dog (in every direction).

I am looking for some type of sports netting or barrier idea (that won't cost an arm and a leg) that would give some more height of protection to keep the balls in our yard. In particular something that could be added to the top of the fence

Google has not been my friend so far.

I have found self-standing ideas such as this one:

Anyone have any ideas?

Tell your kids to keep their knee over the ball and to not lean back

Can't you buy beams, standard netting, and several pulleys to make your own?

Ok. But them not implementing that immediately will be expensive.

Any place locally have them? Or a link for online?

Sounds like a lot of work...was looking to buy something already setup.

We bought a cheap volley ball net and poles and mounted it to the fence. We can put it up and down very easy and gives you a couple of extra feet of blockage. Not perfect as you can still put one over but good enough and cost effective.

We actually have an unopened cheap volleyball net in the garage. Will do this short term for sure. Thanks!
