I just find it funny that the Bundesliga account is replying to idiot fanboy commentators. I'd like to see more of that from verified football accounts on Facebook and Twitter.

Yeah i knew that. But their reply of "it's impossible" seemed to not make much sense to me.

Of course i don't even know what "announce mbappe" is supposed to mean really. Announce he's signing with Arsenal i guess. Just a weird way to word it.

yeah the awkward wording takes away from the impact, especially using "literally" when that makes no sense

Mbappe plays in france, not the Bundesliga

so somebody may have made a mistake and thought he was a German player and asked the German league to announce his transfer and they sniped back with a confusing point that mocked the (potential) error

I'm also trying to figure out why this is thread worthy. On the surface, it just looks like Bundesliga twitter is saying they can't do it because Mbappe isn't in their league, but that's not really funny. Is it funny because the soccer world knows it's virtually impossible that Mbappe goes to Arsenal?

they also say they literally can't, which, is untrue

i think it's a "you got the wrong league" joke and not a "he hasn't been moved yet" joke, but they can still report it

is there some EU regulation that bans federation twitter accounts from discussing news in other federations?
