there's good players to be found everywhere. the young, versatile striker pool is actually probably better in Serie A and La Liga than the Bundesliga right now. I would hope we're looking at guys like Costa, Rossi, Muriel, etc.
that said, i recall hendo and tweezy all up on Kruse's nuts and he's produced for 'gladbach. he could be an option too.

Germany's U21 strikers last year at the Euro were broke as frick. The way Germany revamped their youth development kind of left the 6'4" goal getter in the dark. You see guys like Max Kruse as the future 9's for Germany.

For Bayern's squad and how Pep wants to play I would be equally thrilled with Kruse over Lewandowski. Kruse is probably off to the best start of any player in the league this season.

Unless Jogi is still letting Miro chase records next summer then you should expect to see Kruse starting. Him and Draxler were the best two players along with Lars Bender when they came on their tour of America.

I guess it could be worse. That jacket on Giroud is terrible, though.
It's going to be weird seeing pasty, white guys pull off a jersey that is typically worn by African teams.

i really think we're going to sign Rossi. have a weird feeling. fits the mould perfectly. skilled and has missed a lot of time due to injuries. perfect Arsenal signing.
i would bet my house (ok maybe not, but you get my point) on us triggering Lars Bender's release clause (if the reports are true) in the summer. i'm sure we're still interested in Reus and Draxler too, but those are beyond pipe dreams.

What is Benders clause supposed to be? If the Bundesliga has a lot of CL success again this year, then maybe players will stop wanting a release clause or the clubs will stop granting them. Draxler would probably come in a few seasons, I think he wants to be a household name before leaving Schalke. I also think he'll end up in a Bayern jersey before he's done playing.

Can't see this. Good technically, but doesn't fill the lone striker role all that well. We aren't going back to the 4-4-2 ever, it appears, and I just don't see the need in buying players that would prefer to play as a second striker when we need players who fit into a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3. He might be a wing option, but rarely has Wenger bought crocked players. They get crocked while playing for us.
I'm guessing we are probably going to go for Abel Hernandez if Sanogo isn't progressing the way Wenger wants him to. Again, Sanogo was a crocked player but he was also a free transfer.

Pardon my ignorance but does crocked mean a player playing out of his preferred spot? What was Sanogo originally?

I'm using it to mean a player with injury issues. Sanogo had a serious leg break before we got him. He's a promising striker in the Giroud mould. Rossi has done in his ACL twice so I seriously doubt we are looking at him.

Gotcha. Couldn't tell from context clues. Didn't know Sanogo had a major injury, but also couldn't think of another position that would suit him better haha
