Aron Johannsson chooses USMNT over Iceland

With his one time switch, he is locked in to the USMNT. He doesn't have to actually get capped.

excellent news. a young american suiting up in the eredivisie, if that tells me anything it's that the kid has some technical talent. here's hoping that he blossoms like our previous players who've spent time in the Netherlands.

What we need to do us qualify for the WC before our last qualifier against panama, I think it is. And for that game call up Johannsen, Brooks, Zelalem, julian green, and Shawn Parker and just cap tie whoever we can

Agreed, but this switch already locks in Johannsson to the US. He's now ineligible to play for Iceland.
