When I got tickets for games last year I used footballtcket.net or something and it was sketchy as hell. didn't get my tickets to Real Madrid Juventus CL game till 15 mins before kick off.

after that nightmare I used viagogo for all the others

I only buy from two sources, directly from the club or Viagogo. People buying anywhere else are just risking their money. So many sketchy operators out there in Europe.

some clubs like Spurs and Everton let people sell on stubhub

Selling tickets over face value in England is illegal. Well scalping in general is not legal. Most the tickets on stub hub or viagogo are under face value with people trying to get rid of them.

The only correct way to obtain tickets is through the club. The legit re-sell companies have an agreement/sponsorship with those companies.
