I think you can move Howard above Friedel. I would consider putting Beasley ahead of Bocanegra at LB. Harkes is a midfielder.

I would keep Bradley on the bench. Reyna, Donovan, and Dempsey are all better than him at this point.

What, you have LaLa on the bench? He won't take kindly to that.

One of the few true #10s we've ever had (or at least close to one, like Reyna). If he didn't get his skull cracked by a Brazilian elbow maybe the US goes on to the quarterfinals of that WC. O'Brien didn't do much in his career because of his injuries, so it's hard to put him up on the all-time greats list based on his potential.

the 1994 Brazil squad was just too good. I think we'd have gotten by quite a few teams in the round of 16, but not Brazil, very bad luck of the draw.

I remember the game, we had only a hand full of opportunities and botched most. Brazil was in full control by the last 30 or 20 minutes even after being a man down. Our defense played amazing and even survived some errors which would had us out like 0-4.

I hardly remember Friedel in his prime, so it's hard to say.

That being said, Howard > Friedel for me too. Especially after this most recent tournament.

Beasley over Bocanegra at LB. I can't remember the last time I wasn't worried about LB. Beasley did that.

The rest doesn't change; Howard and Friedel are a coin toss.

Down the line, Bradley, Fabian, and Besler have real shots to get in there. Besler is in the squad over Gooch for me.

Exactly what I was going to say. Once 2018 rolls around I really think at least 2 of these 3 will book their spots in the USMNTATXI.

Howard is in for me now, after that goalkeeping performance, not just because of the Belgium game but because of the whole tournament.

I would take Bradley for Wynalda and move Dempsey to forward.

Switch Dempsey with O'Brien.

Remove Lalas all together. If he were in his prime now he wouldn't even get called into camp. He would be playing indoor somewhere. He came up when USA soccer was at its weakest and was average at best.

I have a pretty hard time buying Wynalda on the starting XI. I love McBride, but I don't think either forward will be on this list for very long.
