Here's hoping Jozy can keep up this form. It can only do wonders for his confidence...and a confident Jozy is good for the U.S. national team.

Jozy is still only 21 years old. Everyone gives him hell. His ball skills are incredibly better. He just needed this playing time to help polish his finishing skills and he needs to learn how to use his body. This move could be one of the best moves for US Soccer in a few years.

I was told that Jozy is terrible, and should be benched for Agudelo, Wondolowski, Bunbury or Buddle.
Maybe his three Eredivisie goals were just luck or accidental like all of his international goals.

I wonder if formation has a lot to do with it. A-A uses a 4-3-3 and starts Jozy at center forward. Seems to be working well for him.

Well yea, Jozy isn't a lone striker type. He has always been a player that holds up play. Never been a Messi type that could create his own shots. But he is getting better at it.

FWIW. I said that it wouldnt' surprise me if Wondo scored 2 goals for us in the Gold Cup. I thought he would have gotten time off the bench and then in the third game I figured he would have started and we would have sat our starters. Panama fricked me.
