its an odd format
2 groups of 4, apparently the best teams
then there is a 3rd group of 4 that only competes for final placement
groups a and b dont adnace to a knockout, you just play the corresponding team in other bracket for placement
1a vs 1b for 1st and 2nd
2a vs 2b for 3rd and 4th....

Annual international tournament of the top women's soccer teams in the world. USWNT usually wins, but last year we only managed third.
