Three other guys and myself left work to watch at one of their houses. We all went crazy when Donovan scored. One of his neighbors said "y'all must have been watching the soccer game" when we left headed back to work. What an awesome game.

I was in the middle of a conference I could not get out of reading an in-game thread the entire morning. We broke for a break and I went sprinting to the hotel lobby, I swear I ran up right as Howard was getting the ball out. If I had been 10 seconds late I would have missed it.
There was another guy who went sprinting out of it with me and we both started to freakout. All the rest of the dorks (fvcking engineering conferences) were all dumbfounded. It was epic!

my gfs cat had infested my house with fleas, so me and my friends watched the game with little bowls of hot water and soap sitting beside us to kill them when we inevitably found them jumping on us.
and it was still one of the best days ever.

I was in France with an LSU abroad program. We were at a bar with two Algerian guys sitting in front of us. When the US scored we all just went nuts, hugging and kissing each other and jumping around like madmen. One of the best soccer memories ever.
