He was pretty poor on the attempt before that as well when he just pushed the ball over the bar that was on the ground. I wonder if it's just nerves.

That's true. He did butcher that prior one and got lucky it went over the cross bar.

Arsenal are allergic to shooting from good angles. Always have to make it harder.

Walcott doesn't run at people anymore. Not sure what the point of having him in the game is if that's the case.

That foul is extremely close to inside the box.

Williams was pretty solid overall. Looked like one of the better reading players in my opinion.

Was that sarcasm? He had 2 such runs today, the first he had poor control on the ball, the 2nd was right after you posted that where he nearly caused a penalty.

Mackey (I think) was pretty good driving down the left side as well. He created some decent scoring opportunities beating 2 defenders a couple of times. He didn't have much pace but he was creative.

ETA: the last 20 minutes of the second half was really entertaining football. It was wide open.

My overall thoughts today having been at Finns for the first time in over two months:
1. Would have liked to see how the Arsenal match played out without crappy GK play
2. Probs a penalty at end of MU-Chelsea and I don't have a dog in this fight

I don't know how much James is making, but if he wanted more money, that'd be cool

You mean the one where the guy stuck his leg out to make himself trip over the defender?

It was definitely a dive. Easily seen in the 3rd and 4th parts of this .gif

It's not even the fact that he has something like that in his bag of tricks and is willing to use it that boggles my mind - it's that his first natural reaction is to go to that.

There's no "size the guy up, throw a couple fakes and then clown him", it's his immediate first touch and thought. Yikes.
