The latest on Aubameyang (at least from the PSG side) is that the club still wants Sanchez and if he comes to PSG rather than Bayern (or less likely stays at Arsenal) then he'll be the main attacker signing of the summer. If not then PSG will pay the agreed on 70 million Euro to BvB for Aubameyang (who wants to come to Paris) and pay him ~150,000 euros a week.

This is coming from CulturePSG which has a reasonably good track record but is not infallible either. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Interesting. Sanchez is obviously a better fit to pair with Cavani, he would be a demon at Bayern though. I would assume he prefers Bayern all things being equal with Vidal over there, that's just a guess though

I agree.. maybe for the summer, but even after the Buffon transfer fee, it didn't blow the keeper market 15 years ago..

Difference is Buffon was a top keeper in arguably the best league in the world at the time, and an established international.

yeah would much rather Sanchez if they can get him.

Also hopefully moving on a lb to replace Maxwell soon. Jose Gaya from Valencia is the most mentioned name there.

yeah that would irritate me as well

it may not be a full picture of what's happening though, who knows. CulturePSG is reliableish but i'm sure they are only getting one side of the story too.

I'd love to have PEA, esp with the Greizmann transfer dead in the water. Much rather have him over Lukakau or Morata due to being much more versatile and still a deadly finisher.

I think for ManU the fact that Lukaku has done it at a high level in that league is why I would take him first if I was Jose. PEA is awesome too but so many guys either cant make the adjustment or take a full year to do so. JMO though.

Lukaku with higher level service might be unstoppable.

But his attitude blaming his team mates when he fricks up their good service is hilarious.

I'd love Lukaku. I think he fits more of what Jose would want in a No. 9 than PEA, and he's used to scoring a ton in the Premier League.

Yeah, he gets a bad rep for his performance in big matches, but I wonder what he'd do at Chelsea with Hazard, Fabregas, Pedro, etc. playing him balls.

Dude scores tap ins and acts like he just banged in a 40 yarder to win the World Cup.

Rom might be my favorite Premier League player who isn't at United. It's either him or Alexis.

Sounds like Vidal is trying to move him in that direction:
quote:

“I told him it’s his chance to be on a big team,” Vidal told reporters in Chile.

“If you want to compare with the big [players] you have to go to the best team in the world.”

Everything I've seen w/ Alexis to Bayern has mentioned them not being remotely close to the wages he wants.
