Eh...what makes you say that?

Not talking down either of the Jesters or Rafters, but you can't make that statement without the competition being open.

Best NPSL team in Louisiana, sure. But not the best.

I got my Rafters season tickets

Got a preseason game tomorrow against Ft Worth. Theres actually a pretty good buzz around town for the team. We'll see how long it lasts when people realize it's at a high school stadium so they can't drink

Me too bruv.

Where should I live? Gonna be working at the hospital. Also, advice on soccer bars and rec soccer leagues is appreciated. Any pick up soccer to be found?

Can always get a nice buzz before the games. :D

I expect the Rafters to get some good interest. Keeping the people interested will be the challenge. The team they have now is a little shaky but in time they'll get there.

I live in South Highlands, its older but beautiful and well respected. Plus I assume you're coming to work at University hospital, and it's not far at all.
As far as soccer goes, the bar/pub scene is nonexistent. No one opens early for games, etc. The AO chapter will do US parties but that's about it. We have a new indoor center that's pretty popular as far as playing goes and the Messicans always have pick up going on weekends at AC steere park. I've seen plenty of Mericans playing along with them.

Time will tell with the Jesters. KF has a good staff. This team will go as far as their back line allows. It was their weak spot last year imo, especially the outside. From the midfield forward they are solid. Keeper could be a strong spot if the back line improves.

Was talking to KF last night, he expects the back line to be much improved.
