Meh. I just think Di Maria is world class, and I was hoping he would stay, especially because I have paid minimal attention to the transfer situation. I am already drafting second in the supplemental draft if no one loses a player, so that was not the purpose.
Maybe it is a stupid pick, but I believe a fit Di Maria could score 200+ points.

Because the supplemental draft works in reverse of the order of round 1 of this draft. He was 9th in draft order, so he would be 2nd in the supplemental. StickyFingaz gets the 1st pick as of right now.

But Sticky only gets first pick if one of his players leaves right? I thought the highest drafted player to leave the country automatically gets first pick in supp draft.

The starting order of the supplemental is the reverse of this draft. IF a player on a roster transfers out and they are still on your roster as of the start of the supplemental, then you would move to the top. What Vick is saying is that, as of right now, he already has 2nd pick in the supplemental. So his pick of Di Maria wasn't really to get high in the supplemental.

I think most people other than SCH feel that way....but him moving would only jump Vick up 1 spot in the supplemental. So I don't think his pick of Di Maria was related to positioning for the supplemental.

I think it may have been considering there's one one really massive incoming player. Whoever is first is going to get him and make bank. Other than that the rest of the rumored incoming guys are meh.

I've been scouring over lists for hours. None particularly jump out at me as "shocking" but to each his own I guess.
