Cinderella against a country that should have atleast one Cup. Lost in 1974 and 1978 to the host countries with the best team in both tournaments. Cruyf didn't even go in 1978 because of kidnapping threats to his family. They win it with him there.

Damn. I knew there were a lot of ugly incidents in high level soccer. But racisim must be pretty damned bad in soccer to have both captains give a speech in their native language before the game.

Yeah, but RVP and Robben are soooooo douchey.
I'm not sure how CR keeps up this kind of energy for more than 60 minutes, especially since they played 30 more minutes their last game than the Dutch did.

Yea. Part of me thinks it would be cheap to do so. But then I see the replays of defenders just hugging players and something has to be done about it. You should be called for using your hands on defense. On that particular one, the ref was staring right at it.
