I think Thiago stays put. Not sure, but I just don't see it.

Lots of chatter about Tottenham making Deuce available for transfer. Probably a good move for him to get out, because I'm not sure he is going to see much action with their midfield.

pep presser this am: confirmed he wants Thiago and no one else. has spoken to his bosses about his plan. also seems to have talked to Thiago quite a bit.

The drawn out Bony deal to Swansea finally goes through for £12million (club record). 4 year deal signed

How are their facilities?
Have they any semblance of a youth system?
If they keep Laudrup, they could do good things. He´s going to get them in the ´noble zone ´ with his guerrilla sharpshooting.
If the above two questions can be answered with decent or better, Laudrup could make them a Villarreal type.

They are building up both. Have to remember they were almost out of league football some 10 years ago. The youth squad just got upgraded to Category 2 and a new training ground was finished this year.

The club did turn a profit last year which is helping the spending here. Basically swapped Joe Allen for Shelvey and made 10 million on the deal with Liverpool over the last year as well.
Now in talks with QPR for Esteban Granero.

Pep, you want dat 0-10-0? I loved Javi so much as a DM last season that moving him to CB would kind of bother me.
Posted on 7/11/13 at 10:40 am to hendersonshands
Javi seems like he would be a great CB in Guardiola's system. Great passer, good positioning etc. with Badstuber still out it seems like a good move.

Yeah and Pep's CBs are a lot like deep lying playmakers so I think he'd do really well. I just don't want him to feel disrespected because he was a huge part of the treble.

Pep said in an interview the other day that Badstuber is a "super, super player" so I'm not sure if he thinks Hole or Jerome is better. I like Hole more. Jerome has been in my personal dog house for pretty much the whole season.

Sky Italia seems to think the Thiago to Bayern is official.

Pep is fricking with media, saying Mandzukic can play defense

Sky Italia have retracted their confirmation of the Thiago A. to Bayern deal. But "negotiations at an advanced stage" (via @SkySportNewsHD )
Sky Italy doing their best ESPN impression.

Fingers crossed that Thiago stays put.

Apparently "Pep has promised Thiago that Javi will play CB and Thiago hopes to have the transfer completed before Barca starts training Monday"
