Probably is a little low, but for a guy who will be 29 in Dec. with 2 years left on his contract... I wouldn't pay much more..

Yep. Everton's in a bit of a tough spot if he doesn't want to sign an extension. Cause if they don't sell him this summer then how much can they reasonably expect to get next summer if he's going on 30 with a year left on his contract? Not a whole lot.
I would try to hold out for 15 or so, but you can't really expect to get any more than that.

they're not in a terrible position. I'd offer him a pay increase and add a couple more years to his contract if 15m is all that's offered. Baines has to know he's not getting a big, long-term contract from a top club when he's 31 after his current contract has expired.

I hadn't ever heard anything bad about him so I was confused. I just think 10-12m isn't worth the value he can give them over the next two plus years (Roberto has already talked about re-upping him). I think ManU will have to overpay to do the deal.

ain't like money is an issue for you. over paying greatly for an aging stud with only one year left on his contract worked out well for you guys last year...

This feels different. We already have an aging "stud" (if you would call Evra that) back there, and there's Buttner.
ETA: Everton reportedly told United that Baines was not for sale.

IMO: the year the RvP had is proof that we DID NOT overpay for him so that argument is kinda silly.
