i was actually hoping villa would come in for snodgrass.

loved lichaj at leeds (and eddie lewis FTW) but with peltier, byram, drury, white and a couple of other young kids coming through the academy we look set there.

love delph. im glad he is coming around. would hate to see him fade away like simon walton, scott carson, danny rose, some of these other kids that get plucked at such a young age.

we actually had townsend on loan from spurs a couple seasons ago but he didn't get many games and the loan was cancelled.

dominic poleon is looking like the next stud right now. pace and skill for days, just needs to learn to keep his head up and bring others into the play. will look great in a norwich strip someday soon im sure.

He would have been a very good Downing replacement a few years ago.

Pretty sure Lichaj had 2 assists at the match I went to. He's a good physical defender but struggles with his touch and the mental part of the game at times. He's actually surprisingly comfortable in and around the box for a fullback too, and the long through can be a very dangerous weapon. If he was left-footed, I'm sure Lambert would have preferred him over Joe Bennett (who is awful!)

I remember that. IIRC he wanted the loan cancelled to go to the blue noses who were higher up the table at the time? I've always disliked him since then.

I'm not familiar with him, where does he play? How old?

19, striker but occasionally deployed on the left side due to our lack of wide options. starting to come into his own.

chris dawson and alex mowatt are the next ones in line. mowatt scored 5 goals ina friendly the other night.

and nice to see parker follow hooper's lead and not go to qpr. sorry harreh

I just don't really get why Fulham bought Scott Parker and gave him a three year contract. A loan is one thing (and Fulham certainly love loans), but I just don't like a permanent move for him.

I think he's just wildly wildly overrated by the British press, but regardless he still is probably an upgrade over what we have. But he's 33. If the 3.5 million transfer fee is correct, along with the three year deal, then I just don't get it.

I wouldn't want my team to take 50 million for Pogba. 20 can't possibly be right.

£20 is a lot for Pogba...

Granted, in a few years he could be world class... not bad for a player Juve got for free...

It would be a decent value if he played for a midtable club somewhere.

Exactly. Juve won't even consider 20mm.

Manchester United are letting centre half Scott Wootton join Leeds United in a cheap deal.
Wootton will finalise the move to Elland Road on Tuesday after being left out of the reserve side as he ends his stay at Old Trafford.
Boss David Moyes will allow Wootton to go because he has so many defenders at a similar stage and prefers Michael Keane.
Cash-conscious Leeds will only pay a nominal fee up front, with cash to change hands after appearances and if he is sold on.
Wootton has been with United for some time and his high point was an appearance in the League Cup semi against Chelsea last season.

Bild says Schalke want Poldi, UCL qualifying was apparently part of the deal. Schalke might sell the Greek box head to free up funds for the deal.
