Yeah he definitely qualifies, IMO 17 million pounds is an awfully lot to spend for him, we could bring in a good striker and another midfielder for that. But even so I would be happy if we brought him back and it would show that Mike is serious about loosening the purse strings a little bit.

Yes. I've heard he's quite good at lulling the defense to sleep and then leading the penetration with the other attackers.

These David Luiz rumors are completely false imo. We bought him 2.5 years ago for ~25 million euros, and he has gotten so much better since then. We definitely won't sell him for 29 mil and I don't think there is any way we sell him.

Málaga´s top brass and Isco´s father are in Madrid, negotiating with Real Madrid.

Also, Italian press says Juve has come to terms with Higuaín, they only lack RM´s approval.

How good is Thiago? Apparently since e didn't play in majority of the games this season his buyout is 18mm. Has offers from all the big boys

@barcastuff: Thiago has offers from Chelsea, Man United, Bayern and Man City. Because he didn't play 60% of the games, his buyout clause is 18M. [md]

shite, I wouldnt be happy if arsenal bought him for $20mil. He has never impressed me defensively, and I find that he is very mediocre when he plays the defensive mid.

United have been rumored to sign Thiago since January. That release clause seems really low.

Here's hoping.

Well that hasn't been confirmed, but that's the word. Apparently he had different clauses depending on how many matches he played. I'm guessing if he met that threshold it would jump considerably. Looks like it'll just be wherever he wants to go, what position does he even play?

CM, hence why he has had trouble breaking into their lineup

That seems like a good question. I think Xavi's importance to Barca/Spain led many to compare him and cast him as their next potential DLP (like Verratti to Pirlo).

However, the little I gather from matches, match commentation and reading some journalists' comments, seems he's simply more of a central attacking midfielder.

Juve´s Morata flies to Madrid this Sunday, to discuss signing Gonzalo Higuaín.

RM wants 25 ´kilitos´, Word is Juve won´t pay more than €22M.

Lots of reports that Juve and Higuaín have reached an agreement but that Real Madrid is trying to get Juve to agree to Higuaín + cash for Arturo Vidal.

If they make a deal for Higuaín I would think they'll likely back off Jovetic.
However, it was surprising that Daniele Prade (SD Fiorentina) said he has been approached by Juve and --to the concern of many Fiorentina fans that want to see go anywhere but Juve-- didn't really rule out the possibility.

Rodriguez and Moutinho reportedly in Monaco for physicals. They're about to get crazy paid.

just read that...

Anyway, if Juve get Higuain, Jovetic (already added Llorente)... they are going to be a tough out in UCL next season... That's a HUGE improvement over the bums they had for strikers this past season...

Monaco is trying to become PSG. Any player not at a UCL title contender would probably sign there in a heartbeat. You've got a billionaire owner pulling the strings in a place with no income tax, something that gives you a huge advantage in Ligue 1.
