i love how he says he was 'forced' to sell becchio implying the club held a gun to his head then like on the next page says he sold him on his own terms 
guy is such a self absorbed prick. havent read nor will i read the book but i can guarantee he will have several pages devoted to crediting himself for giving debuts to wilfried zaha, victor moses, sam byram , etc.

matthew upson latest 'big name' to be linked with leeds. would be a free transfer.
had a bid rejected by posh for their captain tommy rowe. barry frye enjoys penises.
sam byram has to pull out of the u20 world cup squad due to recurrence of that hip injury. hope it is not serious.
noel hunt likely to be next player signed.
still working on a deal for matt mills.
really want us to bolster the midfield.

yea, we really need some pace out wide. i wonder if BMac is dangling varney on the market given his great finish to the season. i'd like to keep him but we really need some creativity in the midfield.

Sounds like we are trying to get mills in on loan. Seems like BMc has deals done he wants, now waiting on the board to get them over the line as they say.

Looking like the same old crap as before. Have to sell first before able to buy. Thought new ownership would be different. Could be another middle of the road finish.

Apparently BMc moved him to free up his 17k/pw wages in order to sign Noel Hunt. Have no idea where the rest of the money/wages are going to come from to strengthen this squad though. We need some creativity in midfield and probably another defender.

yea, disappointed that GFH can't deliver the goods.
think this will be a transitional year. i would be thrilled with a 7-10 place finish. just need a couple players in for that extra quality and if we get that, then next year i feel like could be the year. (been saying that for, oh, i don't know, 9 years now)
we did look really good and organized in those couple of matches under BMc. with a full preseason (first game next saturday!) and full season i am anxious to see how we look and how things go. i hate to say it but we may be wise to sell byram for around 9 mil and just re-invest AT LEAST 6 mil of that in the squad if we are serious about getting promoted.
again, really disappointed in the lack of funds from GFH and i would assume no one is more disappointed than mcdermott.

We have apparently bid 7 figures for Crewe midfielder Luke Murphy.
Don't know much about him. Blackburn have had a offer accepted and Wolves are also interested but know they will likely lose out on his signature.

don't know much either but crewe always cranks out good young players. i've seen some comments saying that he is talented. i read one of his former coaches at crewe is at blackburn. if we have the money i hope we can get the deal done.

Was through the roof, all the changes in one day... Harvey is replaced by Haigh, Nooorudin replaces Bates and we sign Murphy... hopefully there are more to come. I don't like getting excited... but it's happening again...
