2013/14 EPL Survivor Contest Week 10 (Nov 2 - Nov3)

Well that was quite a brutal week. NUFC were responsible for 9 eliminations and 1 lost mulligan (incidentally, the last remaining one of the contest). Swansea cost 1 mulligan and an elimination and the field has been reduced from 17 to 7. I was rather surprised that so many people risked elimination on the Northeast Derby; records don’t mean a whole lot when those two teams get together. Sunderland are not good, but Newcastle are not challenging for top 5-6 in the league this season either. Then again, I don’t think I’ve ever progressed past week 5 or 6 in this contest, so what the hell do I know…

The rules are as follows:
- Select a team from the matches listed each week.
- Correctly selecting home wins, away wins, or away draws provide immunity to the next round...home losses, away losses and home draws result in elimination.
- Each team may only be used once during the competition with the exception of the mulligan round. Teams used in the mulligan round are still available to be used once later in the contest.
- Failure to pick a winner by the deadline each week will result in either the loss of a mulligan or elimination from the contest.
