Scolari, on Dante:
"I’m very satisfied with him, and we have won another great centre-back for the future."
Robben-- About his supporting role at Bayern: "It's difficult, I say in all honesty. But I will not cause any problems. "
KJH ruled out for this weekends clash. i say it could get pretty god damn ugly.

Dat Rat Neymar
""Bayern are a big club with extraordinary players. Playing for them is something I could imagine doing."
"Schweinsteiger is one of the best players I have ever seen. It is the basics that make him strong:positioning, passing and presence"
Dante must've been bragging about our bavarian samba tripod

i think his contract is up after the 2014 season, wouldn't that be a coup of epic proportions if bayern swooped in for the free
edit: i dont want him badly enough to pay a huge arse fee

Gary Cahill who is just a slightly above average English defender completely destroyed Neymar yesterday.

just one of the many reasons i dont want to pay for him. anyway, bayern has let it be known that they no longer have scouts for players playing in south america as they deem them to be too risky unless proven in a european league. neymar is hardly a player they would need a scout to find out about, but yeah i just think this is another very unlikely rumor.
eta: these rumors are irritating to no end, but it is amazing how much the clubs profile has been elevated since the pep hire. never would we have been linked with suarez, messi, and neymar in a one month span.

Yeah, no one at Bayern wants him that bad to want to pay a ton of money for him, except for maybe Pep. However, if Bayern could get a good deal for him, I have no doubt that Pep could get some very good play from him.
If I had to choose between Muller and Neymar, I'm taking Muller easily.

i think neymar is more of a lw/cf, while tommy is more rw/cam/cf. i wouldn't think we'd need to choose, but i keep muller if the choice must be made

love that third person reference

well obviously, but ribery will be 31 after the next WC. surely he wont be able to play as much

Yeah, I wonder how Shaqiri will develop. I wish he could get more playing time.

Neymar would never just walk into this Bayern side. It would take A LOT to convince me he is capable of playing better than any of Bayern's regular starters.

i'm not sure, it's hard to say what his best position is. i think he's the best at RW and CAM. there is kind of a log jam at all of the midfield positions though. my ultimate vision would be having suarez then just putting ribery, muller, robben/shaq, and suarez out there as the attacking 4 and just let them slide around at all 4 positions and frick with the defense. all would be capable of doing that and it would be downright difficult to deal with.

uli does a pretty terrible job of putting the lewa rumors to bed
quote:
Lothar Matthaus has become active again in recent months. It was always with women and now he is suddenly discussing new players at Bayern. It seems that he has changed his hunting field somewhat... Why should we deny things that do not concern us at the present? We have no desire to constantly deny any rumours. We focus only on our work and not rumours.
quote:
Gomez, after Hoeneß would not deny Lewandowski to Bayern rumors: "The club must admit clearly and tell us what's going on"

Apparently all this Neymar talk originated from the rat bastard himself. He's the one who asked Dante about bayern and then gave all these interviews admiring the club and its players. Interesting.

that's a given. what do you think about the neymar stuff though? it's interesting to me, he holds the future in his hands. he's said in the past he would sign an extension with santos so they get a legit transfer fee off him, but he doesn't HAVE to do that. would be the coup of the century to get him on a free.
