Yeah, you won't be able to avoid the bark softening up. Just something you have to give up if you're not doing the full cook on the smoker. That may be worth it, though, rather than risk the meat not being right when you need it for a group that big.
If you're just using the smoker, then I thin...

I have the same size WSM and the most I have done was a full shoulder, with the pic nic and butt separated. If memory serves, it was around 20 lbs. I don't think I could have done more than double that, because the top rack was just big enough. Considering that the middle rack is typically at a b...

| Food and Drink Board|| re: Abita Strawberry - Draft - HungryTiger on 3/17/14 at 10:00 am|
I don't think it tastes anything like bud light. I actually had a free sample of the Abita strawberry on draft at maxwells then a bud light later in the day. I couldn't take more than a couple sips of the bud light. They're really nothing alike. Strawberry drinks more like a wheat beer than a lager ...

I've made the trip a couple of times, and I think the best way to do it is to drive to certain areas (like dry creek road, healdsberg) and hit a few. That said, a couple of my favorites were:
Hartford Court - best pinots and lots of them. pricey wines, but it's cool to taste a bunch of $100 win...

Looks like my idea of a perfect med-rare. Uniform pink color, virtually no grey on the outside, and the center isn't blue at all. Rare steaks have a cool center, and by the look of those the center is warm. Hard for it not to be after 15 minutes in the oven. Impressive work....

Just mayo, s & p is not the way cole slaw dressing is made. Vinegar (cider preferably, but white distilled will do) and sugar have to be included as well, and I like to add a little dijon mustard for some spice.
But, if going store bought, I think Kraft makes the best one. I add alittle dijon t...

Last Coco, if I were you, I would float the idea of being a stay at home dad.
