 | re: Opinions on Jimmy Graham not making the top 100 list? - bonethug0108 on 6/16/13 at 6:29 pm Mostly yes because that is where the TE position is trending. Blocking is important but it has definitely become a secondary attribute. Teams aren't drafting blocking TEs high in the draft and they are not getting paid the big bucks.
So how do you get in position to score? You make catches and ga...

 | re: Opinions on Jimmy Graham not making the top 100 list? - bonethug0108 on 6/15/13 at 11:07 pm I should have phrased that differently. I meant Graham clearly had a better season than any other TE except those 2. They were clearly the best 3 TEs last year.
Where Jimmy ranks between them I think is debatable. Some could say he had the best overall season.
Some might say while Witten didn'...

 | re: Opinions on Jimmy Graham not making the top 100 list? - bonethug0108 on 6/15/13 at 9:08 pm I said Graham produced the better season, not that he had better production per game. What part of that are you not comprehending?
The list is about who had the best 2012 season, and of those on the list only Gonzalez and Witten had a better season. I don't give a flying frick what Gronkowski was ...

 | re: Opinions on Jimmy Graham not making the top 100 list? - bonethug0108 on 6/15/13 at 12:55 am It's hard to block with a bum wrist and Gronk is not like an extra lineman when blocking. Is he good at it? Yes. Better than Graham? At this point yes. But he is not the best blocking TE in the league(and yes I know you didn't claim that, just pointing it out before delusional thoughts take over).

 | re: Opinions on Jimmy Graham not making the top 100 list? - bonethug0108 on 6/15/13 at 12:48 am He had a better season because he played more of it and put up more stats(albeit 2 less tds). Had Gronk stayed healthy he likely would have had a better season than Jimmy. But then we can say had Graham not had an injured wrist he would have put up better stats.
You can't go with what ifs. Fact i...

 | re: Opinions on Jimmy Graham not making the top 100 list? - bonethug0108 on 6/14/13 at 12:51 pm So you don't think Gronk would have rather played 15 games and had 85 catches and almost 1,000 yards as opposed to having played 11 games, catching 55 passes, and pulling in nearly 800 yards?
Yes I'm stupid for saying Jimmy had a better year than Gronkowski last year....

http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/13229/rob-gronkowski

 | re: Opinions on Jimmy Graham not making the top 100 list? - bonethug0108 on 6/13/13 at 11:46 pm 2-3 years is nice, but he's been doing it for much longer was my point.
I think Graham has the potential to have that type of career. If his "down" years are like last year, he could wind up the greatest TE ever.
That said, he's only had 2 great years. Once he gets to 5 we'll call him(or anyon...

The whole thing is most definitely done to get attention in the off season. If they don't have big snubs or players who shouldn't be on there, the list would be "boring". Bringing in current players on the "after" sh...

 | re: Opinions on Jimmy Graham not making the top 100 list? - bonethug0108 on 6/13/13 at 9:27 pm Not a big deal but being that this is voted on by his peers he might have a bigger chip on his shoulder.
Despite being a "down" year for him, he still had a season that every TE in the league would hope to have(maybe aside from Gonzalez who has been the only TE in recent history to put up those n...

 | re: Devery Henderson appreciation thread. - bonethug0108 on 6/13/13 at 9:23 pm Looking at the stats it's clear Devery was the better player. Plus he still has a career(for now).
Clayton had one huge year his first year while Devery only played one game his first year(both 2004).
Since that year Clayton never reached 40 catches and last had more than 20 catches in 2008.
