re: Tuscaloosa Marine Shale oil well sets record (for TMS) - 1540 - CompanyMan
Goodrich is about to TD a well just outside of Kentwood. It's the Blades well. Tangipahoa Parish is outside of the current "core areas". I wouldn't expect too much activity there for now. Who knows, this well might change that, but I doubt it from the geology reports that I've heard/read. Encana...

re: Tuscaloosa Marine Shale oil well sets record (for TMS) - 1540 - CompanyMan
I believe the play will take off, but may take a few years to be commercial. The older drills by Devon and earlier wells from Encana can almost be dismissed. Advancement in lateral placement and fracking techniques have made for better wells. Lateral placement above or below the rubble zone have ...
Halcon Not really a TMS stock, but they have that shitty acreage to go along with all their other shitty fringe acreage around good plays and in other shitty plays.
Its too early to say their acreage is shitty. Honestly, I think they have some of the BEST acreage. I'm no...

re: Tuscaloosa Marine Shale - CompanyMan
You're right. It almost seems as if the play was cut in half. EOG drilled and fracked the Dupuy well perfectly IMHO. I'd love to see EOG carbon copy that well on the East side. The production numbers would be impressive. I do believe ECA will be in monitor mode. The Ash wells will tell a lot ab...
