I've done both. The canning method is good just makes a buttload. Using commercially pickled slices works just as well and allows you to make a manageable quantity whenever you want. The sugar dissloves into rich flavorful syrup thats awesome. Folks have been using this technique with dill pickles h...

My experience is that duck cooked hot and fast (med rare at most) is just like venison prepared same way. It doesnt have that taste that some object to. When cooked low and slow they do develop that taste. I like both ways some dont. Try grilled w/ and w/o bacon etc or seasoned and seared then finis...

You got it. We shoot 240's and 250's but anything over 200 grains is gonna pack a wallop inside of 100. I would not recommend hollow points tho. In pistol bullets which is what you will be shooting, penetration is your friend. ...

Half the powder half the velocity to the good. Does have heavier bullet so a little more recoil to the bad. You gain in less recoil from lowet velocity but give some back by having a heavier bullet....

I will preface this statement: "for a kid".
.44 = BIG hole and lots of room for error w/little recoil.
.243 = little hole and not much room for error w/ more recoil.
IMO and experience, .44 PERFECT kids gun out to max 125 yds....
| Food and Drink Board|| re: Can I slow cook a pork tenderloin - DocHolliday1964 on 11/1/13 at 10:28 am|
Tenderloin does not equal loin. They both need to be cooked differently. A loin would work in your application a tenderloin would not. Shoulder (Boston Butt) would be better. Shoulder is great for pulled pork either smoked or braised in beer.
