| Fantasy Sports Board|| re: Does anyone here pay for draft kits? - Newkie on 7/30/14 at 8:19 pm|
FFToday has an excellent Draft Buddy program. I use it every year, its like 15 bucks.
I'll second this. It's an Excel file and makes it a breeze to keep track of players selected, etc. at a live draft. Pretty sure you can input your league's scoring system for player rankings, too....
| Tech Board|| re: UVerse TV vs DirecTV - Newkie on 7/12/14 at 9:25 pm|
Had DirecTV for six years; have had UVerse for two months now.
Loved DirecTV. Really no complaints, and for me, the customer service was always great. Problem was, I had to go through Comcast for Internet, so between DirecTV/Comcast Internet, my monthly bill was over $200.
Decided to cut costs...

Doesn't matter if it's the best ever or in your top five or top ten, As long as it was enjoyed.
It's my favorite. But next week, I might say The Wire was my favorite. The following week, The Sopranos. I don't feel like I have to make a firm decision on a TV show. As long as I enjoyed it, that's w...

At the dome, I find myself specifically watching Gallette on basically every defensive play. He's that much fun to watch.
Anyway, his recognition and ability to get off blocks on run plays yesterday stood out to me big time yesterday. This confirms what I thought I was seeing.
Thanks for the p...

The Fly is unanimously considered the one episode that can be skipped. Pretty sure the guy saying it would change your life was being sarcastic.
Anyway, while I enjoyed seasons 1 and 2, the wife and I didn't breeze right through them. It was simply a good show, then. Becomes a really good show in...

If this is the same thing as cabeza, I love it. Have a little restaurant in the Texas town my in-laws are from, where I make sure to always get a cabeza taco with cilantro and onion. An absolute favorite of mine....

Best advice right here. Roussel is best bet for after a wedding. I enjoy the Boxer, but not a great post-wedding spot. Mahoney's is my personal favorite, and has best overall beer selection. As far as crowds in Houma, I've always found it hit our miss. Sometimes it's packed, sometimes it's completel...

Back in '02 after beating Pittsburgh in the Dome, there was a STRONG Who Dat chant on the way out. All of a sudden it gets silent, and this old man with a cane and decked out in San Francisco gear appears in the middle of the crowd and goes, "Da Fawty Ninuhs! Da Fawty Ninuhs! TWO WEEKS." Dude got bo...

For all that he did wrong, Gregg Williams had our defense play as well as it could with the talent we had. His style was perfect for our offense, when it would take an early lead. Unfortunately, it's overshadowed by two playoff duds from our safeties, and of course, the bounty crap....

I vividly remember playing California Games and Hero nonstop on the old Atari. Also remember E.T. (such a crappy game). Couldn't be any older than 4 or 5 at the time.
After that, it was Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, Goal, Bayou Billy (also crappy) on the NES....

$6 a pound at various places in Houma. I hate eating crawfish at restaurants, but my wife and her daughter love it on random weeknights, so they share a few pounds while I go with the fried seafood platter.
That said, looking like a home crawfish boil tomorrow. Can't wait....
