My biggest lesson learned was allowing my lump to get a clean burn before putting the meat on.
Very true. Wait until the smoke is clear before putting your meat on. That thick smoke at the beginning won't do your food any favors....
i'd do some big chicken leg quarters.
I agree. That was the first thing I did on mine. You don't want to go volcano hot for your first couple of cooks so things like chicken and fish are great to start with.
After my first cook I saw my wife picking up the bones and getting ...
| Food and Drink Board|| re: Question about Rouses - Dave Worth on 1/22/15 at 9:18 am|
I'm a huge fan of their chicken. Their rotisserie chicken is consistently great and never dried out. We go with this option often for an easy meal when we don't feel like cooking.
And I personally think their fried chicken is better than any other option I've had short of something our grandmot...

But I also loved the Prototype games as well. Give me Superpowers and you have my interest....
| Food and Drink Board|| re: Good recipes using prosciutto? - Dave Worth on 1/16/15 at 11:33 am|
Roll cut a pork loin. Then layer in the prosciutto, cheese and spinach. Roll it like a spinwheel. Brush the outside with olive oil and lightly cover with bread crumbs and your favorite seasonings. Then stick it on the grill or in the oven.
Works great with Chicken Breasts, too.
I also like...
| New Orleans Saints Talk|| re: Compensatory Picks, Do we get any this year? - Dave Worth on 1/16/15 at 10:37 am|
I doubt it. Only people lost through becoming a FA count. Signing Byrd shouldoffset anything we lost in their formula.
Sproles won't count because we traded him. I can't think of anyone semi-valuable that we lost due to free agency. ...
| Money Talk|| re: 401k with 4% Company match? - Dave Worth on 1/13/15 at 11:12 pm|
That doesn't sound bad. My company matches 100% up to 6%. Profit sharing has averaged and additional 3% per year over the last decade. I don't know if there are conditions to get the additional 3% but I'm getting matched almost 10% of my salary....

I agree. It's a good show but not great. I do enjoy it enough to recommend it.
And I also get sick of the wife and daughter. But Ray, his dad and brothers are awesome. Voight is a trip....

I've heard some pretty cool stories about him that I should share one day.
He wrote my grandmother letters from Korea frequently. One of them talked about getting a new rifle and taking it out at night. Casuall...

I'm not a Seahawks or Wilson fan by any means but I do respect what they have accomplished in the last few years.
I agree with the principle that the Seahawks would be better with a "$10m type QB" vs a $20m Wilson. But where do you find that? They rarely EVER hit free agency unless there is som...

Can you easily move files back and forth between the xbox and external drive? All of my games now are digitally downloaded. I would love to download to the xbox and play from there. When finished I would then copy it to the external drive and erase from the xbox.
If you can't do this, are there...

I did the same with a 10lb turkey but no drip pan. Took just over an hour to get 180/160 results. Best turkey I ever had. My mother hates white turkey meat. I made her try a piece while Imwas carving. When the plate was passed around during dinner she grabbed all white meat.
I lightly salted the...
