FWIW, the super high end expensive paddles are intended for touring where you are covering many miles a day. They save energy by being efficient in water and in the air/winf. After several thousand strokes in a day, you will notice the $300 difference.

Werner Skagit here. IMHO, its a great price point before going full stupid. It's weight is great especially at the longer lengths (up to 260cm). The shaft is carbon blend with fiber reinforced blade. Ive never noticed flex even full row. My only negative is visibility because I got it in brown.

I use the factory Jackson rod stager tie down but it could be rigged on other boats. It is a tie down made from bungee between a tube clamp and a J-hook.
Here's a pic of the rod stagers I found online. This one has a fly rod but I put my 8' stake out pole in the same location:

Nice, show up tomorrow with same coupon and get the LED trailer light kit for $20 after tax. BTW I highly recommend drilling horizontal into the T bar and adding bolted eyes. The factory eye bolts are in poor location for yaks... spread too far apart....

FYI you have to ask for the bed extender at Harbor Frieight. They udually have them in stock but not on the floor. Use the part number when asking because there are a lot of items thry sell with similar names.
FYI #2, HF bed extender is L shaped and will scrape the ground on hills. I only have to...
