re: Official Dawgnight Thread - Brick67
The shirts also say "Chase Greatness". Managed to slide into session 2 tonight for the last hour. Watched Eason and Hockeman throw. I was so close I could've tossed my car keys to Eason. Very cool getting to check them out like that....

OK...my oldest is considering Mercer starting Fall '16. Is this something I need to worry about? I've only driven through Macon on 75 and been to WR AFB so I have zero SA about the Mercer campus and surrounding area....

re: 2016 UGA Recruiting Thread (commits, offers, visits, etc.) - Brick67
Agree as well but you got to think adding Rocker was icing on the cake that really broke down a lot of doors. It is a synergy thing now. Perhaps Pruitt was a great shot in the arm and what we needed and adding Rocker just made it even better. Both really good individually but better as a team. W...

Sound City - About a small analog recording studio that quietly recorded some of the most epic albums ever and almost disappeared in the transition to the digital music craze then resurrected itself only to fold. Dave Grohl featured in this one and directed it. They make a BIG deal about their old...

re: Scotch noob - Brick67
Had an aficionado train me, shortly before he lost a battle with cancer, to try a scotch neat for a sip or two and then add just one drop of water--just a drop. Then try it again. If you focus, it is amazing how much of a difference one drop of water has on a scotch. Give it a try....

Can't go wrong with anything by Balvenie (Doublewood, Portwood, etc) That is a single malt. The wood reference is the type of barrel it is aged in and they all impart a different flavor. They have one aged in used sherry barrels I'd like to try. I prefer the single malts to the blends.[img]https...

Seeing Taco Stand on the thread takes me back to when I was a UGA student in the late 80s. What was the name of that place where you could get a grease filled coffee can steak and gravy biscuit in what looked like an old small general store. Brown paper bag would be soaking up the grease and your ...

"Adequate research" is relative because ultimately you'd have some other nugget I haven't come across and call me lazy yet again. I know you're well read. I didn't say you're a teacher, but it could be a teaching moment. What I'm saying is, instead of calling me lazy and then naming a case withou...

You seem to think pretty highly of yourself HRD. It's not a matter of lazy. I have a billion other things taking priority over this to be researching case law. The US Code verbiage was in the original article about the story. Don't assume anything about me until you know me. You have no idea ab...

I too believe it is their right. However, there is one thing everyone commenting either doesn't know or has forgotten. The flag is protected under federal law from desecration. 18 US Code Section 700 describes the act of what the protestors were doing as a crime "technically". I support the cons...
