re: 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat? Hello yes! - LSUtigerME
I'm not sure if the reference to MB is for "Germans", but it was clever to me. I'm excited to see them. It represents a return to muscle cars in spite of increasing regulation. I'm uneasy about the Dodge interior, but everything looks bad ass. I'm kinda torn between a Charger Hellcat or a C7 Stin...

re: Cox Contour Reviews - LSUtigerME
This thread confuses me a little. I'm not sure if I have "contour" or not, because I already have some of these services. I currently have 2 DVRs in my house. They can each record/view 2 channels at once (you can't view a 3rd channel if recording 2 on that box). They also are linked to each other...

re: When did people start putting the $ behind the numbers? - LSUtigerME
It seems to vary quite a bit with other currencies as well. I liked this explanation because it was the only one I found that offered a reason. By putting the "$" in front, you prevent forging/fraud by adding digits to the front of the numeral. The back is already bracketed by the fractional cent...

re: Mid and full sized SUV's - LSUtigerME
What surprised me was the small cost difference between "luxury" brands and non-luxury brands. You're not getting a whole lot more options, just better build quality and materials. But cost-wise a Toyota/Lexus or Nissan/Infiniti isn't much difference. Have you checked out the Acura MDX? The 2015 ...

I don't default them to read on Outlook. I will respond read when that person is depending on my response. It's the Internet version of certified mail. iMessage, I turn them on. I like to know and for people to know I have seen and read their message. If I don't feel like responding right away, s...

re: Used Car Buying Hypothetical - LSUtigerME
If you have a price in mind that's fair, go with it up front. Don't waste everyone's time. You don't have to play the back and forth game. Just don't expect to get $20k car for $9k....

re: Fit Bit or similar - LSUtigerME
I just got a FitBit and wife has Jawbone Up. The Up is more accurate in terms of actual steps. For a male, I prefer the look of Fitbit and the way it fits. It's a great glorified pedometer. I don't really get the purpose. Best thing about it IMO opinion is the sleep tracker. It just detects mo...

re: Questions about interview/pay - Update, Another Question - LSUtigerME
Blazer/tie is likely better than slacks/button up. Suit/tie is appropriate for technical/professional roles in plant environments. We never wear suits, but not uncommon for interviews. I don't think anyone would look down on blazer/tie though (or even slacks/tie)....

re: Questions about interview/pay - Update, Another Question - LSUtigerME
Go through the process and get the official offer. Make sure you will like the other company, the work/workload, etc. You're interviewing them as much as they are you. If you like the offer, and the new place looks promising, definitely talk with your supervisor about it. He/she is an employee to...

re: About to switch from HTC One (M7) to iPhone 6 + - LSUtigerME
I'm not familiar wth Google's process, but Apple uses either iCloud or Outlook (maybe allow others too). Prior to iCloud, you could sync them to outlook and they'd transfer between phones. iCloud just introduced their iDrive which can store documents and other things, so that may include a new wa...
