re: Is the Cyber Security Market Saturated? - MyNameIsInigoMontoya
In my opinion, security has an exceptionally high growth potential, as well. Think of all of the newly "connected" devices we have coming online with the Internet of Things. As that number grows, so will the need for new cyber security measures....

Mine is still not working. Dealt with Aeotec support, then they pushed me to Silicon Labs support. Nothing has been working so far. Still haven't tried it on another PC. I may bring my work laptop home and try it there. ...

re: Stay away from short sales? - MyNameIsInigoMontoya
I'm sure others know much more than I do about this, but I do know that short sales (and foreclosures) can take a LONG time to process. So, depending on your situation, that can be a pain to deal with. ...

re: Need help with parade sound/speaker setup - MyNameIsInigoMontoya
I guess he could, assuming he has an AUX to 1/4 inch converter. IMO, a mixer would make it easier to control volume (with a large slider and mute ability) and would give at least a 3 band EQ. Also, it would give him the ability to add a microphone if he so desired....

re: Easy way to copyright and protect those songs you've written. - MyNameIsInigoMontoya
ASCAP (and similar organizations like BMI) do NOT copyright songs. The Library of Congress does that. ASCAP and BMI are Performing Rights Organizations. They work to collect money if/when your music is played on the radio, etc and pay you royalties. ...

re: Need help with parade sound/speaker setup - MyNameIsInigoMontoya
No offense to the OP, but if he doesn't know what half of this stuff is and doesn't know how to set it up, he probably doesn't need to worry about fooling with a 15 band EQ. There is a basic EQ on the mixer that should be fine for playing songs from an iPod during a parade. My suggestion: keep i...

Exactly like that. You don't need any of the other things that you listed. Not saying you can't use them, but I don't see a point in over complicating it. ...

re: Need help with parade sound/speaker setup - MyNameIsInigoMontoya
Those two JBLs and the JBL sub look more like home audio speakers. Don't do anything with those. I assume you are doing this because your current setup lacks bottom end. In that case, what may be possible is running the highs out of the crossover to the powered speakers you already had and send ...

I don't think that one QSC will do much to power those 18s and tops. Speaking of tops, do you only have 1? That Wharfedale? Those JBLs don't even look like monitors. ...

re: Anyone using an ip camera as a baby monitor? - MyNameIsInigoMontoya
There was a thread from CAD about this. I use a Foscam IP cam as a baby monitor and love it. It takes a little more configuration than a Dropcam (or whatever they are now), but it's cheaper and more customizable. ...
