re: Superior on Highland in BR? - Wasp
I live in Central Highlands behind Mathernes. The only issue I foresee is with live music and whether it would be outside or inside and at what times. Other than that, I am all for Superior moving in. My wife and I used to live in the Villas on acadian and we frequented superior once a week to dr...

re: How has CATS improved for you all since the big tax? - Wasp
I have never taken the bus, but from what I have seen and read it is getting better. Responses on here will be fairly dumb, but having a reliable public transportation system is vital to have a successful mid-size city and will eventually help relieve traffic problems. Baptism/christening outfit for boys - Wasp
I am looking for opinions, or experiences since a lot of you probably didn't make the decision. Did your baby boy wear a gown or pants/shirt for christening? Will be approximately 3-4 months of age. I am talking about the white outfits for both that are specifically for this. ...

re: Private Schools in BR - Wasp
Dunham isn't for everyone, but I will list positives for Dunham. 1. Elementary school. It is nearly brand new and a great facility with wonderful teachers. Technology and computer projects are mixed in at a young age as well. 2. Great new arts facilities. 3. Harkness Method. 4. Apple schoo...

re: If you owned a restaurant, how would you handle a request for a 1/2 sized entree - Wasp
You could be right. Maybe restaurants do serve too much food. The amount of food often reflects the price that is charged. Price charged is often in relation to the profit margin. By reducing portions/prices turnover must increase to maintain the same level of production. ...

re: If you owned a restaurant, how would you handle a request for a 1/2 sized entree - Wasp
Maybe what he is missing is that the food costs are variable costs. Having a chef and staff and building and all else are fairly fixed costs. If you cut the price in half, sure it doesn't really affect the markup % on food but it leaves a lot less to cover all of the fixed expenses. ...
