Pure crap shoot. We have a light in the water at Pirates Cove, and see lots of small trout at night. Sometimes we will fish it when we see the trout popping, but it's almost always small ones. Get you a Vudu shrimp under a cork, a beer, and a chair, and give it a try! Beats watching TV....

2nd the flaxseed oil method. I saw that same article here last year and re-seasoned several of my pots and they have held up very well. 4 or 5 coats makes a great finish. Just try it on one of your pots and you will see the difference. and...you can get food quality flaxseed oil at Walmart ...
