That's where I go to make pulled pork. For slicing about 165 would be right.
Try the cane syrup you'll like the result!...

This will help to make a delicious bark.
I usually take the butt or butts because if I'm doing one I'd just as well do two. Dry them off well and rub them down with cane syrup(you can also use molasses), don't put so much that it ooozes off the butt but enough to evenly coat the meat. Then sprinkl...

Wherever you end up getting them or finding them ask if they are local or at least from the U.S. A lot of frog legs come from China like the Chinese crawfish.

Got to agree with the problem being the lump charcoal.
I see where people take pictures of what's on the grill(no matter what kind it is)and the bag of charcoal(lump pr briquettes)rolled up and stuck under the grill. That's not the way to store your fuel. If not doing so already store your fuel in...

Ha! That "Certified Creole" stamp might be a marketing genious idea to sell stuff making people think it's sort of a Louisiana product. Made in California!
I might try it just to see what it's about but what can make it any different from Blue Runner's gumbo bases? Price I'm sure....

This is the first version of what is now called the Broil King Keg. Mine is a Bubba Keg.

This is a long post and everything was really cooked on the Keg(grill).
I started of with making a Rustic Ranch Salsa in which about all of the ingredients were grilled on the Keg.
I did the red onions later and forgot to get a picture.

Not quite an hour and a half into the cook and the roast is looking fantastic.
Meanwhile, I'm having a bowl of that soup with a little of the cheese.

| Food and Drink Board|| re: Add a Rotisserie to Your Oven - Cajunate on 8/8/13 at 10:40 am|
The rotisserie allows juices internal and external to constantly flow keeping the meat moist as it cooks. Not like sitting still and drying out the uppermost part of the meat.
I just might have to use mine this weekend....
