Kich Ash Basket - Cajunate
This is for everyone that owns a Big Green Egg, Big Steel Keg or any other Kamado grill that is similar. This afternoon I prepped the Keg for grilling some burgers this evening. I wanted to use my new Kisk Ash Basket so I vacuumed out all of the ash and tiny pieces of lump. I kept the larger pie...

re: Smoking a Turkey or Chicken on a gas grill is it possible? - Cajunate
I would do it indirect at a high temp for about 1/2 an hour(till it begins to get golden brown, keep an eye on it!)then turn the temp down low or about 225* and then let it cook indirect until thighs reach 165 and run clear juices. After breast reaches about 150* cover it with foil. Place a pan or s...

re: Mold in my Big Green Egg - Cajunate
Try heating it up to about 375-400* and let it run like that about 4 hours with no food in it. That should dry out the moisture. Never had that problem with my Primo Jr. Oval or my steel Keg. Is it on the walls or the grate?...
