Do you know anything about the depth off Texas City Dike Road?
Actually, I forgot about this one spot. In the winter, the current causes a swirl in this one area that bores out a pretty deep a little less than 100 feet from shore.

I've fished a lot around Galveston for many years, and I'll have to say that winter fishing isn't very productive. There's only one place I know of for good winter fishing (Fort Point, Galveston). Drops to nearly 60 feet only yards from the shoreline. Unfortunately, this is a restricted area.

I've chosen Midland GMRS over other brands for years. That particular model is 5 watts, which is amazingly good for GMRS.
Out in New Mexico, I easily get 15 to 18 miles out of my 2-watt Midlands. (yet only 0.75 miles in Houston)
What most folks don't understand, is that the antenna length is j...

Rather than having her simply hold these weapons and then offer an opinion, you should instead haver her fire the weapons and THEN offer an opinion. That may quickly change her viewpoint.

Both turned out to be really sweet deals that needed virtually no work whatsoever. The key is be patient...

Bring a small fold-up stool or stadium seat (de-scented).
