re: Private Schools in BR - Poet

re: Could brian schweitzer have crossover appeal to Republicans? - Poet
He has an easy going style and is real folksy. I think he could have cross over appeal.
I live in Montana. This statement is wrong. He's a showman and a clown and he was very antagonistic towards Republicans when he was governor here. He was going to run for Baucus's senate s...
The chapter was under pressure from local alumni, DKE National, and LSU. They didn't stand a chance and didn't have a choice. Back in the olden days, before the national broadcast of everything that anybody could consider offensive, it was easy to get away with the signs; it was a campus ...

re: Detroit and Shreveport ... annexation - Poet
This is really interesting to me because I've always compared Caddo and EBR, having grown up in Caddo and then lived in EBR as a parent.
There are 2 sides to Byrd. The non-magnet side is a DUMP now.
Honest question - hasn't it always been that way? It was a dump when I was in h...

re: Moving to Bozeman, Montana? - Poet
Winters aren't that bad, plus there are outdoor things to do that time of year. It's a hell of a lot better than a Chicago winter.
I agree. We don't get a ton of snow in town. It's very manageable. Winter is not bad, it's just looong. May is a sad time. ...
