re: How Awesome Was NASA Back In The Day? - Mr Mom
There should have been overlap in the end of the shuttle program and the rollout of the next generation launch vehicle. The last few shuttle launches were cancelled and the engineering and development of the heavy lift vehicle was pushed back due to NASA's budget being gutted in 2008. Had thing gone...

re: Florida/Gulf Shores Bachelor Party Help - Mr Mom
Last time I was there the grounds were dirty, the elevator closest to our condo was broken for the entire 5 days we were there, and there was enough chlorine in the pool to dissolve a dead body. Our condo wasn't bad for the price, but maybe we were just there on a bad week? Regardless, the Mediter...

re: Cooking Ribs on Big Green Egg - Mr Mom
For babybacks I use a 2-2-1 method. I keep my Primo as close to 225 as possible, 2 hours unwrapped, 2 hours wrapped, 1 hour unwrapped and I usually put sauce on during the last 20 to 30 minutes. Make sure you remove the membrane from the back of the ribs when prepping and don't skimp on the season...

re: Holy horsepower wars: Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat: 707 HP - Mr Mom
Even though I don't own one, I'm am a fan of the "big three" muscle cars. They are old school and badass. I prefer a truck for a daily driver, but something like the Hellcat or a GT500 would be a fun weekend car. That being said, my wife's S6 is a pretty nice change of pace too. ...

re: cooking bacon in oven - Mr Mom
I like doing it in the oven too. Foil line a jelly roll pan and lay bacon flat. I usually crinkle up the foil before covering pan so it creates creases to catch the grease. Put it in a cold oven set for 425. When the oven is heated up, the bacon is ready. ...

Sat next to Spike Lee on a flight back from NYC. He was wearing head phones and obviously didn't want to talk. This lady in her 50s walks up to him while plane is still loading and waves at him and he takes off his head phones. She says hi, aren't you Spike Lee? He nodded and she started talking a...
