re: Michelle's lunch program - bon apetite - BFIV
The meal depicted in the OP clearly does not meet NSLP standards.
Who, here on the board, said that it did? Of course it doesn't meet NSLP standards. ...

I admit I'm no rocket scientist, but I sure didn't vote for Obama. And you call me a moron? :rotflmao: Throw away your stick, Tuba. You're way outgunned here....

Oh, but I did read all of them, and you still miss the point. I have seen these children's public school lunches personally. Let me draw the picture for you: If Michelle was really sincere about her beliefs and her school lunch issues, she would be promoting that all federally funded lunches wo...

Very interesting and not surprising in the least. Michelle = hypocrite. I'm going to rejoice when BHO leaves office, no matter WHO is elected. At least, then, he and she will both be gone and relegated to the history books....

re: Michelle's lunch program - bon apetite - BFIV
It would be very interesting to see a picture of the menu and the typical lunch served to Michelle's kids at their prestigious Friends of Sidwell Academy or whatever their private school is called. I'm betting there are a few "minor" differences... ...

re: How to catch snapping turtles in a pond. - BFIV
Use shrimp. They will go crazy over shrimp
I agree. We don't have enough shrimp up here, though, to use for turtle bait. Shrimp costs too much to feed it to snappers! Mama BFIV would not be happy if she knew I was using her frozen shrimp to catch turtles... :violin:...

re: Why not attack ISIS with Ebola? - BFIV
An Ebola outbreak would do a much better job at curtailing their recruiting efforts.
I suspect that Ebola is already there among the ISIS terrorists. With so many of their recruits coming from the infected African countries, it is only a matter of time before Ebola begins to ta...
Dam, I never see any in the daytime.
Before I found out my buddy liked to eat em, I'd sneak down to the pond and shoot em with a 12 gauge. I've done the low crawl many a time to get within range before they ducked under the water or slid off a log or the bank when they saw me. ...
Sounds like a great way to catch a dog.
I did catch a yote one night, Tenfoe. That thing made so much of a racket that I didn't know what was going on at first. Yote broke the hook off the wire leader. I actually felt bad about that, so I only bait the snappers during the day n...
I'm thinking I'll clean most that are caught going forward. Get enough meat and cook em up.
Everytime I caught one, I'd call up a friend who liked em. I didn't actually kill em, but I got rid of em just the same. He would put em in a 55 gallon drum and feed em dog food for abo...

I use a 1/0 worm hook baited with plain old breakfast bacon. I set the baited hook right at the edge of the water where minnows, small bream, etc. can't get to it. I attach the baited hook to a 3 foot length of very small diameter aluminum wire attached to a piece of rebar stuck in the ground. You...
