You either have an electric short or powerpack going bad
Back when I had my '76 Johnson 55 HP, I had power pack problems less than a year after I bought it new. Factory trained mechanic told me to never try to crank that motor with a weak battery. Said it could damage the power p...

Prayers and thoughts sent your way, Sig. Sometimes you get a warning and sometimes you don't. I was lucky. I got a warning. Listen to Sig's advice. Be aware of the signs and get yourself checked....

I took the car to Advance Auto right after the "check engine" light came on and had them check the error code on their little plug in diagnostic and the code said it was a bad TPS. I haven't checked the voltage on the original. ...

Gotta replace the throttle position sensor on Mama BFIV's Outback tomorrow. If I position the replacement TPS in the same exact position as the original, is it still necessary to adjust the new TPS with the voltage meter? I don't have a volt meter, but I could borrow one, I guess. TIA!...

While looking at the national weather map, I saw a little community with the name of Smackover, Arkansas. I guess it speaks to the mindset of the OB members, mine at least, that I immediately thought of SmackOverHawg. Always kind of wondered to what his identity here referred, Now I know! I've a...
I prefer skin mounts. Most replicas I've seen look like replicas.
Not tryin to split hairs here, but some taxidermists, me included, do not consider a replica to be true taxidermy. Replicas are an art form, like painting and sculpting. There is no "taxidermy" involved. The term ...

Do NOT wrap your fish in newspaper or any other kind of paper! Any kind of paper acts as a "wick" and will cause the moisture to be drawn out of the fragile fins, head, and gill area. Instead...press the fins tightly to the body of your fish and wrap (several wraps) the whole fish in Saran Wrap or ...
