How does that look, though?
From the side, it looks like a leather sole. From the bottom, who cares. I think I know what you're saying, though. Some rubber sole dress shoes can tend to look like clunky orthopedic retard shoes. These don't....

I'm a 15, too. I wear the Cole Haan Caldwell and Calhoun styles. I used to have the same problem. When I got the most recent replacement, I went to a shoe repair shop and had them glue a thin rubber sole on the leather. I have yet to run through the rubber in a year and a half. ...

"Keep on Running" is my favorite of theirs. That's one gifted dude. His voice has hardly changed in 50 years, too. I can't think of another continuously active singer for which I could say the same. One of my favorite of his performances: [link=(http://youtu.be/ljKcDA5nKbE)]Steve Winwood and ...

eh, fairly common knowledge, I think. Plus, all those California bands of that time were somewhat communal, weren't they? eta.- Didn't blow my skirt up, but may blow someone's mind. Was thinking this could be an interesting Trivia thread. I'm not hear (yep) to guide the thread, just to read in...

Wait a sec. You mean to tell me __________ played on __________? - Socrates Johnson
I just read that Stephen Stills played percussion on the Bee Gees' "You Should Be Dancing." Nothing against either of them (both in my top 20 artist/bands), but it blew my mind. Does the Music Board have any other surprising pairings? Duane Allman on Wilson Pickett doesn't count....

Let's not forget that the Beatles had a few Motown covers on each of their first couple of albums or so. Motown isn't a traditional band, but it's still some impressive music. The closest the Brits have to soul is the Bee Gees and that's just because they have the same monarch as the Aussies....

Saw the Kings of Leon open for the Strokes in November 2003 at the Tabernacle in Atlanta. Went and bought the first album the next day. Sat next to a girl that only came to see the Kings of Leon. I though that was dumb before they started. My mom had the Box Tops play at her prom....
