Maybe this is an overly simplified way of thinking but the guy makes easy foods. I had a 2005 Trailblazer that had the same problem. Unfortunately, there's no easy fix. They have to replace the whole instrument panel which of course is dealership only. If I remember correctly it cost about $200. ...

I haven't seen any Mikkelers or Lagunitas brands that I've seen as far as I know... Anything specific I should look for? I've seen Stone but haven't gone for it yet. Thinking that since I'm off for until the new year this is the time to experiment....

I used to have a gas grill with the porcelain coated grates. They're pretty low maintenance unless you're cooking something with a sauce that burns on and stays a little sticky. Even then just a quick rinse and brush off and you're done.
