Time will answer this question now that both are in the NFL. I do know that Sam gave his all to the fans at Tiger Stadium. Both were a strong part of one the best defenses in college football. This is something I will never forget.

Watching Sonic Sam leave it all on the field game after game and then stand behind the stadium and sign and talk with people for hours on end. Never once did he turn anyone down. No telling how many young men he sold LSU by doing that. Classy guy who makes time for the little people. ...

Their offense spent a ton of time on the ground in the backfield. I wouldn't say they were all that. Yes, they won, I was there, but it was nothing our D couldn't handle until they were gassed from being on the field ...

Not worried at all. I really didn't think we would win this many games with o-line we had coming apart like it did at the beginning of the year.
